Earlier Thursday morning 4 Av, at a time there are usually many Muslim worshipers on Har Habayis, the holy site was empty. The accompanying video shows many Muslims waiting to enter the holy site, but they would not do so until given the ‘green light’ by the Jerusalem Mufti or Waqf Authority officials.

Later in the morning, the ‘green light’ was given and the Muslim worshipers returned to Har Habayis, but showing they would only do so by directorate of the Muslim and not Israeli authorities.
