For the past six weeks, electric bicycles that were locked to poles in the southern city of Ofakim began disappearing. It appears the thief developed a fondness for dismantling and reassembling electric bicycles.

Police detectives arrested a 17-year-old city resident and when his home was searched, they found electric bicycles and parts. During question, he admitted to stealing them. He told police how he loves to dismantle and reassemble them and by stealing them, he found a way to incorporate his hobby into profit before vacation time.

He was released home and awaits a criminal indictment.
