Arabs pelted the #2 bus with stones late this afternoon just a few blocks from the Kosel. Hatzolah Israel reports, that two passengers were injured after a group of Arabs threw stones at the Egged bus – shattering a few windows. The bus continued to the Kosel Plaza, where medical treatment was delivered to the victims, and they were transported to the hospital. Later this evening, 5 Arabs were arrested by police in connection with the incident.

My answer to this stone-throwing incident is that the culprits should be treated to the same type of “stoning” they were inflicting on their victims. Unfortunately, as cruel as it may sound, these people do understand force and in a perverse way probably respect it.
Did anyone ever see a Muslim “stoning”, the real thing? I saw one on the internet somewhere recently, probably ut. Of course, all of this does not mean that we can do the same thing, although we can wish it on such perps, can’t we?
Though who think we are a ‘stone’s throw’ from peace are off the cliff.
the very simple and obvious solution to the problem is don’t drive through the arab neighborhood, when it’s Ramadan they don’t go through the neighborhood because it’s to dangerous do the same when it’s not ramadan, the only reason they drive through the arab area is to drop off arab passengers
#4 should We grant victory to this form of terrorism by not driving through these neighberhoods or should we rather increase our (police & civilian) presence? not going through these neighberhoods will just increase the danger to jewish neighberhoods (ie.Withdrawal from gaza brings rockets to sderot)
#4 Are you for real? The only way to get into the Kosel thru Shaer Haashpa is going around the city gates, quickest and easiest walking from the northern charedi communities in yerushayalim also. That is the reason that people still walk thru shaer shechem to get to the kosel for davening.
“the only reason they drive through the arab area is to drop off arab passengers”, do you mean the Arab workers that are doing construction, cleaning, gardening, electric work in the frum areas of bus line #2.
#7 (nfgo): Good one!!
We have to thank the Arabs for reminding us we are in Galus.
