Channel 2 News released a new election poll, which was taken after the first round of voting in the Machane Tzioni party primaries earlier this week. If elections were held today, and Amir Peretz headed the party, Machane Tzioni would receive 15 seats. If the party was headed by Avi Gabbai, it would receive 14 seats.
The poll was taken on Wednesday, 11 Tammuz, by the Midgam Institute for Channel 2.

Meretz headed by Zahava Gal-On 6

The poll included a cross-section of the Israeli population, overseen by Dr. Mina Tzemach ad Menno Geva.
According to the Walla Poll conducted by Prof. Camil Fuchs, Machane Tzioni receives 18 seats regardless of who heads it; Peretz or Gabbai.
