Over 200 North Americans will emigrate from the US and Canada and move to Israel together on a Nefesh B’Nefesh charter Aliyah flight, in cooperation with Israel’s Ministry of Aliyah, the Jewish Agency for Israel, Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael (KKL) and JNF-USA. The flight will arrive at Ben Gurion Airport on Tuesday, 10 Tammuz, with a diverse group of new Olim arriving through Nefesh B’Nefesh.
The flight’s passengers will include newcomers from 16 states and three Canadian provinces, including 14 soon-to-be IDF soldiers, 5 sets of twins, 34 families, 78 children, 51 singles and 47 people moving to Israel’s periphery, working in a range of professions who will reside in communities throughout Israel.
A festive welcoming ceremony for the new immigrants will take place at Ben-Gurion Airport following the flight’s arrival, and is open to the media.
Notable guests at the ceremony will include: Minister of Aliyah Sofa Landver; Chairman of the Knesset Committee for Immigration, Absorption and Diaspora Affairs MK Dr. Avraham Neguise; Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem Chagit Moshe; World Chairman of KKL-JNF, Danny Atar; Director of the Aliyah, Absorption and Special Operations Unit of the Jewish Agency for Israel Yehuda Sharf; Deputy Director of the International Affairs of El Al Stanley Morais; and Co-Founders of Nefesh B’Nefesh, Rabbi Yehoshua Fass and Tony Gelbart.
