Over 3,000 mispallalim were present on Wednesday night the eve of 5 Tammuz at Kever Yosef in PA (Palestinian Authority) occupied Shechem. The visit was arranged since 1 Tammuz was the yahrzeit of Yosef HaTzaddik ZY”A.

The visit was coordinated with the IDF and during the visit, Shomron Brigade Commander Colonel Gilad Amit was presented with a certificate of appreciation for his major role in permitting and arranging such visits to the holy site.

Yossi Dagan, head of the Shomron Regional Council, said: “We have the right as a nation to remember our leaders and to mark the day of their death in the place where they were buried thousands of years after their death … This is our strength as a nation.
