At least ten children, and eight others, were treated for shock after a Kassam Rocket landed in the schoolyard of an elementary school in Sderot. The Rocket landed just feet from the school, and occurred around 11:00 AM. Damage was reported on some surrounding buildings.

Parents rushed to the school to check on their children, and most parents took them home for the rest of the school day.

Meanwhile Israeli forces killed four terrorists in the Gaza Strip. IDF forces backed by helicopter gunships, tanks and troops entered Marazi village early Thursday in search of terrorists operating close to the Gaza-Israel border.

Four terrorists were successfully killed.
