A Zaka spokesman on Monday, 25 Sivan announced at 1:00PM, there was a fatal accident between the communities of Chaniel and Beit Halevy. Chaniel is a moshav near Netanya and Kfar Yona.

The accident occurred on Route 5711. A man and woman in their 80s were killed in the accident.

Zaka volunteer Azriel Schniter explained to the media “We are talking about an accident between a private and commercial vehicle and the collision was most serious. The man and woman were trapped in the private vehicle. The two were killed on the spot as a result of the powerful collision.

Zaka personnel attended to kovod hameis; including extricating the bodies from the crushed vehicle.
