Tensions are mounting on Har Habayis on Sunday morning following early-morning Islamic rioting on the holy site.

Often, Muslims disturb the peace on the holy site in the hope of police responding by canceling visits by all non-Muslims. Police on Sunday morning did not act in such a fashion.

Later in the morning, police arrested two Muslim men involved in assaulting police earlier in the day.
