The huge project of the public transportation routes in Beit Shemesh in the last steps towards its departure. The city’s senior officials went on a learning tour in Haifa and the Krayot. The project was funded by a project manager with extensive experience and a great deal of expertise in carrying out the Netivot project in Haifa and the Krayot, which toured with the senior officials of the Beit Shemesh municipality throughout the project in the north so that they would be impressed close to the big upgrade the city will receive.

The tour was attended by Beit Shemesh Mayor Rabbi Moshe Abutbul, Deputy Mayor Shmuel Greenberg, Deputy Mayor and Transportation Commissioner, Shalom Edri, City Council Member and Chairman of the City’s Old City Administration, Adv. Matti Hutha, City Director, Mr. Danny Zarfati, City Engineer, Ms. Yael Heiman The city’s architect, and Mr. Shaul Fuchs, director of the City Improvement Department. The tour was hosted by Micki Alper, a member of the Haifa City Council and a member of the Yifei Nof Company, which carried out the project in Haifa and Krayot.

The city’s senior officials and elected officials have shown great interest and practical learning in the tour. There is unanimity in moving the project, which will lead to a tremendous upgrading of the public transportation infrastructure and the development of landscapes for the benefit of the residents. At the end of the in-depth tour, the Mayor thanked his deputy, Shmuel Greenberg, for promoting the project and much investment in the matter.

He also thanked Councilman Shalom Edri, who accompanied the project in the Old City, to Rabbi Micki Alper for hospitality and explanation and the team of project managers from TMR. The mayor and his deputy said that with the implementation of the project, the city would be able to prioritize a public transportation trip that would significantly shorten travel time.
