Once again, a frum IDF soldier was attacked in Meah Shearim, this time on erev Shabbos afternoon. A soldier phone 100, requesting police assistance as he came under attack with rocks and verbal assaults in Meah Shearim.
When police arrived, they found the soldier in a store as the crowd gathered outside shouting insults. Police extricated the soldier without incident.
A MDA ambulance that arrived on the scene was also in need of police assistance to extricate itself from the area as the mob also blocked the emergency vehicle.
The soldier got out of the army for Shabbos and was heading to the home of a relative who lives in the community for Shabbos.

Was he sent to rival up some noise, or is he plain stupid?
Unless he is living in a vacuum, most people know that the Israeli government is out to bother the drum people as we saw in the last few weeks.
Why go there with your uniform… get dressed for Shabbos and go to your host!

To #1. And why was an ambulance blocked? Perhaps an ambulance should first dress up for Shabbos before entering?
I wonder what the terrorists will think (that is to say, plan) when they find out there is this one special location in Israel that is all Jews and no Muslims, has no weapons, no soldiers allowed and no ambulance allowed.
Rocks and verbal assaults: so the attackers were Israeli Arabs/Muslims … NOT.
Do not give opinions about whats going on here until you are LIVING here, not just visiting and running back after a couple of weeks. That is what the politicians have been doing and that’s why they always give the wrong advice…
