Jerusalem police report that two Arab residents of the eastern capital are in custody for breaking into the home of an 80-year-old woman on Sunday, 10 Sivan.
The elderly woman resides in the southern capital. She was awakened by noise in her apartment and went to the living room only to find two young men who demanded her money and jewelry. The two fled her apartment with her cell phone and cash.
Detectives we quick to respond and began probing for evidence immediately, leading to the arrests of the suspects in matter of hours. The suspects are residents of the Shuafat refugee camp, both in their twenties.
