Report: Hamas Has An Army Of 27,000 Including Navy Commandos

A recent Times of Israel report addressing the situation in Gaza states that conditions for Gazans have become more complicated as a result of new regulations imposed by the Hamas regime.

The report adds that Hamas today is organized and it is an army built structurally like all armies. At present, there are 27,000 armed soldiers who are divided into six brigades, 25 battalions and 106 companies. The Times of Israel does not refer to them as “soldiers” but prefers “armed men”

Hamas maintains an organized military and the organization is not to be viewed as a ragtag disarray of freedom fighters, but a well-trained motivated military. in fact, 2,500 of the soldiers belong to the elite Nuhba unit, adding a third of the troops are intended to for the purpose of carrying out attacks inside Israel, reaching their target by sea (naval commandos).

  1. Yep. And so much of the “aid” that was sent there to rebuild infrastructure funded this. Obama was looking for ways to ship “humanitarian aid” to Hamas. I do not trust that Hillary would not continue to look for ways to tacitly support terror. I am firmly convinced that Trump will have none of it.
