Deputy Minister of Education Meir Porush was among the VIPs in line to shake hands with President Donald Trump at the official welcoming ceremony at Ben-Gurion Airport on Monday, 26 Iyar 5777.
Porush told Mr. Trump “I am seventh generation Jerusalemite and my grandchildren are ninth generation, living here. We have many generations living in Jerusalem”.
