The National Road Safety Authority has released statistics pertaining to road deaths during the week between May 14th and May 20th, 2017. In the past week, there were six fatal accidents in which seven persons were killed R”L.

Since January 1, 2017, 137 motorists and pedestrians were killed on the nation’s roads. There have been a staggering 33,158 road deaths since the establishment of the state in 1948 and this number includes 5,051 children and youths.

As seen in the accompanying document, there are already more road deaths in 2017 than in all of 2016.
