A 40-year-old woman was injured this afternoon, after a Kassam Rocket scored a direct hit on her home in the Israeli city Sderot. She was transported by MDA Medics to Barziali Hospital in Ashkelon – where she was listed in moderate condition.

The explosion of the rocket inside her home caused extensive damage to the structure.

This attack comes just a day after Sderot’s mayor suddenly resigned while being interviewed in Israeli radio – as reported HERE on YW. He said his resignation was due to the fact that he does not want the guilt on his shoulders for not adequately protecting the residents of his city.

At least 25 Kassam Rockets fired from Gaza have landed in the Western Negev since Wednesday morning.
