Education Ministry officials announce that on Sunday, Lag B’Omer, there will be a regular schedule including afternoon programs and the presence of security personnel.

In addition, there will be regular transportation for students. This includes students receiving transportation from the ministry or those who receive it from a local municipality.

The ministry explains that despite the fact the Transportation Ministry has allocated buses for the Lag B’Omer route, the Education Ministry does not envision a problem as there are local lines that students can use to get to school.

No explanation is given for the contradictory statement in the ministry notice to the media.
