Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotevely visited Yishuv Ofra, which has become the home of the former residents of Amona, who were promised alternative homes in exchange for leaving their homes peacefully.
The families are living in a dormitory since being ousted from their homes without any alternative housing solution in site for the near future.
Back in March 2017, expellees went on a hunger strike, but even this did not compel the cabinet to act.
She explained that the residents were obviously abandoned by the government and she feels the government, which she is a part of, must build them a new community as expeditiously as possible.
