International Red Cross Wants Israel To Ease Restrictions On Imprisoned Terrorists

While thousands of PA (Palestinian Authority) residents marched in support of striking convicted terrorists imprisoned in Israel, the International Red Cross (IRC) turns to Israel to show more compassion vis-à-vis family visits for the hunger-strikers. As a weapon to combat the hunger strike, Israel canceled family visits for participating prisoners.

The solidarity march was held in PA-occupied Beit Lechem on Wednesday, 7 Iyar.

IRC officials have issued a statement in which they urge Israeli authorities to halt the “systemic suspension’ of family visits for the hunger-strikers.

Back in Beit Lechem, speakers included the wife of heinous terrorist Marwan Barghouti, who leads the hunger strikers. He is serving five life sentences for his murderous acts. However, this in no way deters PA residents who compared the silence of the international community regarding the “plight of the hunger strikers” to “encouraging a Nazi-like occupation”. This refers to the Israel Prison Authority, which permits convicted terrorists to have cable TV, earn a high school and/or college degree and many other privileges not given to terrorists in a sane society.

The protest was timed to coincide with PA (Palestinian Authority) President Abu Mazen (Mahmoud Abbas) meeting in the White House with President Donald Trump.
