A newly married young man from Eretz Yisroel was suddenly Niftar on board a flight from Madrid to Miami.
The man, who has been identified as 32-year-old Nissan Hayuni was travelling with his wife on their honeymoon, when he was tragically Niftar on Iberia Airlines Flight 6132. The flight landed at 3:00PM at Miami International Airport.
His wife says he may have been allergic to certain food that was inside his Kosher meal. To make matters worse, when it was realized that the man had stopped breathing, the wife says there was no defibrillator on the plane.
He was pronounced dead by EMS when he arrived at the airport.
Rabbi Mark Rosenberg, the Chaplain for the Florida Highway Patrol and Director of Chesed Shel Emes was at the gate when the flight arrived and has been able to successfully work his way through the many agencies (Local Police, FBI, TSA etc), to have the Niftar released to the local Medical Examiner.
Chesed Shel Emes is working closely with the Medical Examiner and will do everything they can to respect the family wishes of not having an autopsy performed.
When the Niftar will be released he will be flown to israel for a Levaya and Kevura.
