Kinos to Highlight Achdus in Among Dati Leumi Rabbonim


Leading rabbonim in the dati leumi community are organizing a kenos, to be held on Yom Yerushalayim. Efforts have been ongoing in recent months to units the dati leumi community, to place differences behind towards creating a viable formidable unified force.

A number of months ago a kenos was held of the elders of the dati leumi rabbonim, stressing the need of across-the-board cooperation.

The organizers expect that the Yom Yerushalayim kenos will be attended by many hesder roshei yeshiva, as well as principals of ulpanot, garinim torani’im, and other mosdot affiliated with this community.

Some of the leading rabbonim in this community have already responded, signaling their intention to attend. This includes HaGaon HaRav Aaron Lichtenstein Shlita, Rav Chaim Druckman, Rav Zalman Melamed, Rav Yaakov Shapira, Rav Yaakov Ariel, Rav Shmuel Eliyahu, Rav Re’em HaCohen, Rav David Stav, and many more.

  1. What a lovely pun the headline writer produced! These clerics are going to hold a kinnus (gathering) and the headline calls it kinos, as in Tisha B’Av. To wit: a gathering of high powered RZs is cause for kinos.
