Police were summoned to investigate after a 5-month-old baby arrived at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv unconscious. The infant was brought by a woman who operates a daycare in her Tel Aviv home.

According to preliminary reports from the hospital, the infant sustained a fractured skull, leading to the involvement of police, who questioned the woman on suspicion of abuse or neglect. The matter is also being probed by social services.

Hospital officials list the child’s condition as moderate, confirming the fractured skull and internal cranial bleeding.
