After a day of gunfire and RPG attacks against IDF forces operating in the Gaza area, the air force during the night bombed a weapons smuggling tunnel. There was also a rocket fired into the Eshkol Regional Council during the night. No injuries were reported.

** Major IDF training exercises set for the Ramat Gan, Givatayim and Givat Shmuel areas. A siren will be sounded in these areas at 16:30.

** Approval given to call up thousands of IDF reservists due to the worrisome situation in both Egypt and Syria. Reservists who have fulfilled their annual responsibility may be recalled as per the law governing reserve duty service.

** Three IDF military policemen mistakenly entered PA-occupied Kalkilye. They were stopped by PA forces and turned over to the local District Coordinating Office unharmed.
