Police report on Tuesday morning, 2 Iyar 5772 that a taxi driver in Kfar Saba was stabbed by an Arab fare(s). The driver, in his 30s, was driving his fare when he suddenly attacked him without provocation on Ben-Yehuda Street, stabbing him multiple times. The victim was transported to Meir Hospital, listed in moderate-to-serious condition.
The driver picked up the fare(s) from a hotel and headed to Taibeh. When attacked he called the dispatcher for assistance, telling him “they stabbed me”. No money was stolen in the incident.
Preliminary evidence in the case points to a terrorist attack. The attacker is in custody.
