Foreign journalists in Israel on Monday, 7 Nissan, participated in an educational Government Press Office tour, at Kfar Chabad, ahead of the upcoming Yomtov. Dozens of journalists and diplomats from around the world, including from China, Japan, South Korea, Germany and Turkey participated in a workshop on the baking of matza and were briefed on the nature of the holiday.

GPO Director Nitzan Chen: “The international media is showing great interest in the broader significance of the holiday, one of the hallmarks of which is social and cultural solidarity. In English, the message is one of love and acceptance of the other. Yesterday’s was one of a series of educational GPO tours for the international media in order to better acquaint them with Israel’s Jewish cultural heritage.”
