Northern district police in Israel last week took part in a special operation to apprehend dangerous drivers who endanger others on the roadway. The operation focused in areas with many vehicular accidents occurred.

During the operation, a total of 1,152 summonses were issued including 36 cases in which the vehicle was taken off the road and 28 drivers had their licenses suspended on the spot. 35 drivers were apprehended operating a vehicle without a license or while their license is suspended including 9 previous offenders of this violation who now face jail terms for the repeat offense.

48 vehicles were modified illegally, posing a danger to drivers and pedestrians. Some were fined while others were also removed from the road. The following photos were included in the report by police without an explanation as to the violations.
