A two-year-old boy was scalded with hot water on Shabbos in his Elad home. United Hatzalah EMTs from Elad were first on the scene.
EMT Shmuel Berkowitz explains “The victim was a two-year-old boy burned to his upper body from hot water that was spilled on him in the kitchen of the home. I treated him along with other members of the ambucycle team on the scene. His condition was described as moderate”.
On Friday, a 4-year-old was burned in his home in Ofakim. United Hatzalah EMTs responded there as well, explaining a pot of boiling food spilled onto him in the kitchen during Shabbos preparations.
Both children were transported to local hospitals.
