As an frequent spokesperson against those who attack chareidi IDF soldiers, Chardakim, MK (Shas) Yaakov Margi was targeted in a protest by extremists who oppose chareidim serving in the IDF.
Margi, who serves as chairman of the Knesset Education Committee, speaks out regularly against those frum Yidden who feel they can or must attack frum soldiers. This has led to a protest outside his southern Israel home.
This protest took place last week as a minibus carrying extremists arrived outside his home to protest. Police were quick to respond with a Yassam commando force.
Margi is pushing to amend the law so that anyone attack chareidi soldiers will face a stiffer penalty under the law.

It is not just extremists who oppose serving in the IDF. Most Chareidim do. It is the extremists who make the noise and a lot of hatred, in the process.
