1. “Many Breslov Chassidim are planning to be at the tziyun of the Rebbe ZT”L in Uman on Rosh Chodesh Nissan as it is written one can find yeshuos by being at the site on his birthday.” – The first place that this is written is on the Yeshiva World News website. Apart from here, there is no such statement in Breslover literature.

   However, it is always good to go to the holy tziyun of Rabbeinu z”l in Uman, and to give a peruta l’tzdoko l’ilui nishmoso and to recite the Tikkun Hakeloli there. I am just pointing out that Rosh Chodesh Nissan has no extra quality more than any other day in the year in this respect. the only exception is Rosh Hashono – the Rebbe z”l said that even people who he can not rectify during the rest of the year, if they come to him on Rosh HaShono then he can give them a ‘tikkun’. The greatest chassidim understood that the Rebbe meant this to apply even after he left this World. זיעוכי”א

2. All these Yidden running to Uman leave me with one question: How can they afford to do it?

3. I think the majority of yidden are bewildered by this Breslov obsession with running off to one of the most anti-Semitic countries in the world to daven at their rebbe’s kever. It makes no more sense on Rosh Chodesh Nissan than on Rosh Hashanah or yud daled Kislev. They should stop this meshugaas and bring the Rav’s remains back to EY.

   I was told that flights from israel to Ukraine are cheap and to stay in the Ukraine is also cheap.

   While a flight from the US to Kiev might cost $1000 or more, it might only be a few hundred dollars from Israel
