IDF Major-General Eitan Dangot, who serves as the coordinator of activities, confirms reports that Israel permitted the transfer of four large electrical transformers that will supply 80 to 120 megawatts of electricity. The new transformers were furnished by the United Nations and they are going to be hooked into the main electric grid in Hamas-controlled Gaza.
