The Jerusalem police spokesman unit reports the Peleg Yerushalmi protests continued throughout the night of 23 Adar, Monday to Tuesday, primarily in the areas of Kikar Shabbos and Bar Ilan in the capital as well as on Nahar Yarden Street in Beit Shemesh.
Protesters tried to block traffic and closed down major roads – successfully inconveniencing hundreds of thousands of Israelis in cars, buses and the Jerusalem Light Rail. Police were attacked with rocks and other objects. At one intersection an irreligious woman exited her vehicle to try and have the protesters move so she can proceed on her way. Screams of “Shiksa” and other slurs can be heard.
A female officer was injured in a hand by a rock.
Police arrested 31 people, including 5 in Beit Shemesh. The detainees were arraigned on Tuesday.

Can someone explain to me R’ Shmuel’s shitah on how to justify the gezel zman ha’rabim, injuries and public nezek, waste of valuable police resources and finally the massive bitul Torah that is resulting from the protests of these bochurim?
