Matzah exports from Israel in 2011 amounted to $13.1 million, a 2.5% increase from the previous year. The main recipient of the ‘Lechem Ani’ is the United States, totaling $7 million, representing a drop of 7.5% from 2010, totaling 52% of total matzah exports. Experts report the drop in exports to the United States is due to an increase of local matzah production in that country.
The second largest recipient of Israeli matzah is Italy (10% of total exports), totaling $1.3 million, representing a 10% increase from 2010 HaMevaser reports. Britain is in third place (9% of total exports) totaling $1.2 million, a 15% increase from 2010.
In 2011, matzos from Israel were shipped to 53 countries, including Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, Cambodia, el Salvador, Macadamia, Liberia, Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia to name a few.

I would hope these are largely machine matzos. Not to shter anyone’s business, and not to denigrate all the local production, but I witness one major producer in Yerushalyim that if not chometz gamur, is well below the standards I saw in Brooklyn.
Woah! Chometz gamur?! What did they pick up pieces of matzah from the floor and throw them back in the mixing bowl? Vechi berishoim askinon?!
