The level of the Kinneret, the nation’s primary potable water source, rose an additional 2cm as a result of the rainfall. The Kinneret this morning, Tuesday, 26 Adar 5772 measured -2.92 under the upper red line.
While almost three meters is still lacking, this marks the highest the Kinneret has been in a number of years, the result of the gishmei bracha.
