It appears that rocket attacks into southern Israel are one thing, and economic issues are another. For the first time since Hamas seized control of Gaza in 2007, Israel has permitted Gazan exports to make their way to PA (Palestinian Authority) areas throughout Yehuda and Shomron.

Human rights officials praised the move, adding Israel is compelled to permit exports towards fulfilling its commitment towards Gaza’s economic development.
