The Jerusalem Post is reporting that there was another near collision in the air-space around Ben Gurion Airport earlier today.
According to the report, a collision between a Russian cargo jet and a number of IAF aircraft was narrowly averted when the aircraft came too close to each other. According to Ben-Gurion officials, the Russian pilot had ignored instructions from the tower and attempted to fly around clouds while taking off.

Good point, sammygol, but I don’t think the Russians feel that 70 years of communism was enough- they thrived on it! Just look at them now.
