According to the ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet), there was an increase in terror attacks in October in southern Israel. Nationwide, there were 80 recorded incidents as compared to 68 in November 2011. The increase was seen in the Gaza area, with 46 incidents and attempted attacks, including border attacks and rocket fire.

In Yehuda and Shomron, there was a decrease (28) as compared to September (39). There were six attacks in the capital, compared to 17 in September.

An Ashkelon resident, Moshe Ami HY”D, was killed in a rocket attack and four others were wounded in the same attack.
