State To Release Nachum Manbar


The prison parole board has agreed to the early release of Nachum Manbar, who has served 14.5 years of his 16-year sentence for selling information to Iran.

Manbar, who was sentenced in 1998, sold information on chemical weaponry and weapons to Iran. His release is accompanied by a number of restrictions, including a media ban. He may not speak to any members of the press and he may not leave the country.

Manbar is expected to be released by day’s end today, Sunday, 3 Cheshvan.

  1. His crime had nothing to do with violence. Therefore, good behavior proves nothing. He should be made to look at videos and pictures of terror victims to make him aware of who he was a spy for.
