Ami Moshe HY”D, 56, who was seriously injured when a rocket fired from Gaza struck Ashkelon on motzei Shabbos, died of his injuries during the night in Barzilai Hospital. It appears that the victim was driving in a vehicle and was unable to get to a shelter in time.
Over 30 Grad, Kassam and mortar rockets pounded southern Israel on Shabbos and motzei Shabbos.
The Egyptian media reports that Israel has agreed to a ceasefire that is set to begin on Sunday morning, 2 Cheshvan, at 6:00am. It appears the ceasefire was reached through Egyptian mediation with terrorists in Gaza.
At about 4:00am, another Grad type Katyusha rocket landed north of Beersheva. There were no reports of injuries or damage.
