Bnei Brak sanitation officials have been busy during recent days, removing the Sukkos schach from the community. City officials point out the schach has been removed and kept separate from all trash with the realization it was used for a mitzvah and should be discarded accordingly, in line with the view of the Mishnah Brurah.
City Hall reports that 39 tons of schach have been collected from within the city limits and it was discarded in an area that is separate from the city’s trash.
