MK (Ra’am – Ta’al) Dr. Ahmed Tibi released a statement today, 26 Tishrei, that it is preferable to release terrorists from Israeli prisons through the negotiating process than negotiating a prisoner exchange deal. The Arab MK feels this would be mutually beneficial, to Israel and Hamas alike.

“Don’t be surprised if the two preconditions to the return to the negotiating table with Israel become three, the acceptance of the pre-1967 Six Day War boundaries by Israel, (2) a cessation of construction by Israel, and adding (3) the release of terrorists Tibi explained. Therefore, “it is preferable to release prisoners via the negotiating table” he reiterated.

Tibi was a most senior aide to Yasser Arafat YS”VZ, even while serving in Knesset and he recently accompanied PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) to the United Nations when he made his bid for Palestinian statehood, so when Tibi speaks of increasing demands of Israel, one may believe him since he works as an advisor to Israel’s enemies while being paid a state salary, tenaciously working against state interests from inside parliament.
