Meretz is working hard to increase support for its boycott of “settlement products”, items manufactured in areas viewed as “occupied” by the organization, including Yehuda and Shomron.
The organization’s website can serve another purpose, to signal to supporters of those areas which products to purchase towards supporting businesses and communities are areas viewed as “disputed” by the United States and other countries.
In another Meretz-related matter, the home of a party official was targeted in a graffiti attack on Monday morning, graffiti that included “price tag” and “don’t forget Migron”.
Meretz officials are calling on authorities to act appropriately and with a hard hand, citing concerns over “the hateful atmosphere and criticism that prevails among some in the government and Knesset that is penetrating Israeli society and threatening all those who oppose the policies of settlement and continued building in Judea and Samaria”.
