A series of dangerous storms that produced at least one tornado swept across Connecticut on Thursday afternoon, prompting the National Weather Service to urge residents to find safe shelter and remain indoors. The weather service said a tornado was spotted just after 3PM in Thomaston in the western part of the state. (WNBC)

According to the Thomaston police chief there was no tornado that hit in Thomaston today it was just heavy winds and rain. You should get your facts and news from a normal news source such as a CT. news place. WNBC is for n.y. not CT.
