12:50PM EST: Emergency personnel are on the scene at the Brooklyn Boardwalk (West 10th Street & Riegelman Boardwalk) with a 7 year-old child who drowned in the ocean. NYPD Aviation has dropped two divers from the air into the ocean to search for the child. NYPD Scuba units and the FDNY fire boats are on the scene as well. There is no sign of the child at this time.
1:02PM EST: NYPD is confirming that they have found the child – in unknown condition.

Why do you say he drowned? and then say he’s found.He may be alive and B.H. maybe will recover?
Drowned does not mean dead. Although my sources do say he is DOA.
