Over the past few days Flatbush Shomrim has received complaints from residents that teenagers walking home from school assaulted them for no apparent reason. Flatbush Shomrim advised them and their neighbors to immediately call 911 and the Shomrim 24 hour emergency hotline number if they see them again.

Just a day after the complaints came in Flatbush Shomrim received two additional calls for assault in progress coming from the same teenager. A teenager walking home from school assaulted an 80 year old man by knocking him on the head with a helmet. Responding units kept an eye on the perpetrator and notified the police from the 70th precinct. Responding officers made an arrest and the teenagers are being charge for assault amongst other charges.
