Late last week, a passerby on 21st Avenue and 57th street, saw three young men enter a Viznitz school bus, and called Shomrim to report the break-in. Moments after, the first member arrived at the location alongside the Washington Cemetery, and observed one of them attempting to forcibly remove the radio from the vehicle. He radioed for more backup, and units started rolling in quickly. As the perps realized they had been caught, the three of them slipped out of the bus in an effort to run and escape.

The police department was notified and pulled up on scene, almost immediately. After a short foot chase, the three individuals were stopped on 20th Avenue and 58th Street, where the NYPD arrested them for vandalism.
