The city’s Notify NYC program is being expanded to include alerts about missing children and seniors.

Subscribers will have more to sift through in their in-boxes, because they’ll receive text messages or emails whenever there is an Amber Alert or a Senior Alert, the city announced yesterday.

The program also provides alerts about emergencies, power outages and transit disruptions.
