Work is already underway to prepare St. Vincent’s Hospital for its closure at the end of the month.

The cash-strapped hospital’s signs were removed on Wednesday.

This comes a day after St. Vincent’s announced ambulances are no longer bringing psychiatric patients to its emergency department.

Walk-in patients are still being accepted.

The hospital is set to close on April 30.
