Brooklyn, NY – The MTA conducted a new study confirming that improvements are needed on the ‘F’ train.
A report concluded that delays from construction and breakdowns, service changes, overcrowding and litter in cars all need to be addressed. The MTA says it will fix the problems by bringing in a new fleet of cars.
The MTA adds that it will hire a new maintenance manager, review a new train schedule and reduce the impact of construction.
Officials say riders of the ‘F’ train can expect some changes immediately. Other drastic changes can be expected next year.
