Many Flatbush & Boro Park residents were awakened at approximately 6:30AM to the sound of news choppers. The cause of their presence was a fire in a private home on East 8th Street near Avenue H.
FDNY confirmed the fire at 6:15AM EST, and it was placed under control at 7:00AM EST. The fire was located in the rear of the 2.5 story structure.
There were no injuries reported.
