Iran last week failed to gain entry into the Guinness Book of Records for the longest sandwich. It appears that before the three judges, who were flown into Tehran for the event, could measure the 1500 meter-long sandwich, which contained 700kg of meat, the hungry crowd moved in and ate most of it, not leaving any evidence for the judges.
